Sunday's Main Meeting
Freedom Church's main Sunday meeting currently takes place at Hautlieu School from 10.30am with over 300 people attending each week.
Our Sunday morning main meetings have lively praise & worship, a life changing relevant talk, and an opportunity to meet new people with Tea & Coffee after the service. We love to see new people and would look forward to meeting you and hearing about you.
Freedom Kidz caters weekly for around 100 children from birth to the end of Year 6. We have a well equipped Crèche with dedicated Parents Room and a range of fun activities in age-banded Zones, where there is an emphasis on creative expression, engaging with the Bible and developing a personal relationship with Jesus.
Youth ministry 180° provides around 40 young people aged 11-18 with a range of Sunday morning and mid-week activities at Hautlieu and our community centre in St Helier; Immanuel Christian Centre (ICC). We encourage all of our young people to play an active part in the life of the church by serving regularly in various areas including Freedom Kidz, Hospitality and Welcome to develop new skills as they grow in confidence and maturity.
Multi-Room & Multi-Style
Our regular 'Dual Meetings'allow us to cater for a range of tastes by offering two different styles of Worship on Sunday mornings.
On the second and fourth Sunday of each month, Hautlieu School's Learning Resource Centre (LRC) becomes our 'Upper Room', where a dedicated team of musicians lead a more reflective time of worship, in contrast to the louder, livelier praise and worship meeting taking place in the main hall.
Everyone who opts for the Upper Room meeting is able to watch the speaker give their sermon via a live video link from the school's main hall. So, regardless of which style of Worship they've chosen to attend, everyone is able to hear the same message.
Family Sundays
Four times a year we hold special 'Family Sunday' celebrations where there is an opportunity for families to bring forward their babies and young children for Dedication, whilst later in the day we gather together to baptise those who have come to personal faith in Christ.
Our Family Sundays are a really special time to celebrate our growing church family and to enjoy hearing about what's happening right across all the ministries and activities which are part of Freedom Church.
Youth Sundays
Our first full Youth Sunday in November 2010 was a great success as the 180° Youth Team led the whole of our Sunday morning meeting. This was a fantastic time together with all ages enjoying the music, video testimonies and relevant messages from our Leaders of 180°.
